About Move it cargo: Move it cargo was founded in 2019 with the ambition to bring the offline and fragmented moving industry into the digital age and change the way people move houses. At Move it cargo we bring customers and move service providers together to redesign the relocation experience and set new standards in the moving market.

Booking Confirmation & Payment Terms: If payment is being settled privately, we require 100% upon confirmation. We are unable to proceed with your shipment without having received an initial amount. Please allow sufficient time if paying by bank transfer/cheque for funds to clear into our account to avoid any inconvenience. If your company is paying Move it cargo directly for your move, we require a Local Purchase Order (LPO) as well as full payment in advance (unless credit terms are agreed ahead of the packing) / loading day. In all cases, a signed Acceptance of Quotation is needed prior to the commencement of packing. Any additional items added after the survey or not on the list are not part of the quote. Storage services will be provided only upon receiving credit card payment authorization for directly debiting storage charges every month.

COVID Test Charges: If in case COVID Test is required by any Government Authorities for the travel/entry purpose related to the customer’s job all the charges related to the COVID test of the workers assigned to the respective job will be bear by the customer. The bills of actual charges will be presented to the customer on the job date.

Services Exclusions: Stair carry will be charged additional as applicable (This clause is not applicable for the villa). Disconnection and Re-connection of any Electrical or Electronic Equipment. Moving of Valuables (Passport, Money, Gold, and Original Documents). Any Electrical Works.

Move Out / Move In Permits: Please make sure you have already got the move-out permit from your building management before your moving date. Please let us know if you need any sort of documents from us if in case your move is cancelled due to lack of permits you will be charged 100% of the job amount. 

Any Conflict During the Move Day: If any conflict arises between the customer & the moving team members then the job will be cancelled and the team will leave the premises.

Booking Timings: At Move it cargo we make every effort in ensuring that the crew reaches on time as agreed. However, due to traffic conditions, there might be a delay of up to 60 minutes to reach your location. We can assure you that your Tasks will be completed as per the scope agreed.

Move Related Tasks & Completion Times: Move it cargo commits to ensuring every task is completed in due time and every effort is made to make the move experience hassle-free. Most of the Moves are usually completed within a Day’s time except Commercial Moves and/or other large moves, which is specified at the time of the booking for the estimated time of completion of the move. If, however, there is a requirement to complete the move outside the specified times and requires additional trips from the Moving crew it is then chargeable on a case by case basis as per the scope of work required.

Handyman Services and Dismantling and Assembly: Move it cargo commits to move everything at the customer location as per the agreed terms and work scope. Move it cargo will ensure to install everything at your new location which is moved by the Move it cargo crew including but not limited to furniture items, curtains, and wall mountings. Any new items which are not moved by the Move it cargo crew and/or not part of the initial move scope will be chargeable as per the scope of the work required.

Movement of Furniture through Stairs: In the event where the furniture or other move-related items are to be carried through the stairs, there is an applicable charge of AED 20/Item per floor.

Personal Belongings: Move it cargo and any of its employees do not take any responsibility for Cash, Jewelry, Laptops, or any such items and we strongly advise the customers not to leave these in any of the moving boxes which are to be carried by the moving crew. If required boxes can be provided in advance to pack these items personally.

Cancellation Policy: In case of cancellation of the move, we are happy to cancel this free of charge as long as the cancellation is notified 2 days before the move date. If the cancellation is done less than 24 hours of the move there is a cancellation charge of 50% of the invoice value. If the cancellation is done on the date of the move, Move it cargo has the right to charge the 100% of the invoice value.

Free Damage Coverage: In the rare event of any damages during the movement of your items our free damage coverage offers AED 3/Per KG (weight of the damaged items) up to a maximum of AED 250/- (AED Two Hundred Fifty Only) total claim value. Our Free Damage Coverage is only applicable if damages are reported before the moving team leaves your premises on the move day.

Premium Damage Coverage: Covers any damage caused during loading, unloading, or while relocation, you can ask for compensation up to 75% of the total loss value of the particular damaged item. You will be charged 3% of the Total Declared Value of all the Goods/Items to be relocated. Personal Effects should be valued at the current market value at the destination, i.e. the approximate replacement value of the item at the destination. You can’t apply our Premium Damage Coverage Program for the part of your cargo or selected items. It is important that all items/cargo, without exception, is covered under our Premium Damage Coverage Program. Selection is not allowed and could result in affecting your cover/claim settlement if any.  Our Premium Damage coverage is only applicable if the application of the premium coverage is submitted a minimum of 2 days prior to the actual move day and the premium amount is paid in advance. All the claims/damages should be reported before the moving team leaves your premises on the move day. There will be no damage coverage provided if the damages are reported after the moving team left your premises on the move day.

Give Respect & Get Respect: Move it cargo and its team ensure to provide due respect to its valuable customers and if there is any disrespect shown, please feel free to let us know and the concerned person will be dealt with strictly as per company policy. We expect the same from our valuable customers to give respect to our team members who are doing their best to ensure a hassle-free move experience for you. If any abuse or disrespect is shown, Move it cargo reserves the right to stop/cancel the move immediately and to report the incident to local authorities.

Direct Dealings with Staff Members: Move it cargo will not be held responsible if the customer does any kind of direct business/deals with our assigned staff without getting a proper TAX Invoice and acknowledgement from Move it cargo’s official channels.

Move it cargo’s Right to Withhold or Dispose of Goods in Storage: Move it cargo shall have the right to withhold and ultimately dispose of some or all of the Goods in accordance with this clause if either: (i) you do not pay any applicable fees or any other payments due under this Agreement or (ii) you abandon your Goods, which will occur in the event your Move it cargo subscription terminates or expires and you fail to take possession of your goods within 45 days from the termination or expiration date, despite Move it cargo’s or an applicable courier’s good faith attempts to return your Goods. You will be responsible for all storage charges and other associated costs reasonably incurred by Move it cargo while withholding or disposing of the Goods. Move it cargo will provide you with 45 days written notice requiring you to pay all amounts due and contact Move it cargo to arrange for re-delivery of the Storage Boxes. If upon the expiration of the 45-day notice period you have failed to pay all of the amounts due, Move it cargo may dispose of some or all of the Goods by sale or otherwise. If in Move it cargo’s opinion the Goods cannot be sold for a reasonable price or at all (for any reason), or despite Move it cargo’s reasonable efforts they remain unsold, you authorize Move it cargo to treat them as abandoned and to destroy or otherwise dispose of them at your cost. You shall be responsible for all costs reasonably incurred by Move it cargo in relation to the disposal of the Goods. If Move it cargo receives money on disposal of the Goods, the net proceeds of the sale will be credited to your account and Move it cargo will pay any excess amounts to you without interest, less Move it cargo’s administrative charge of AED500. If, after having made reasonable efforts to do so, Move it cargo is unable to return any excess amounts received by Move it cargo from the disposal of your Goods to you, including having given not less than 90 days written notice to you, Move it cargo may retain any such excess amounts for its own account. If the proceeds of the sale (if any) are insufficient to discharge the outstanding charges or any other payments due to Move it cargo under this Agreement and the costs of sale, you must pay any balance outstanding to Move it cargo within 7 days of a written demand from Move it cargo. Interest will accrue on the balance in accordance with the Payment Section above until the balance is paid in full.

The Services: The Services constitute a technology platform that enables users of Move it cargo’s mobile applications or websites provided as part of the Services (each, an “Application”) to arrange and schedule transportation and/or logistics services with independent third party providers of such services, including independent third-party transportation providers and independent third party logistics providers under agreement with Move it cargo or certain of Move it cargo’s affiliates (“Third Party Providers”). Unless otherwise agreed by Move it cargo in a separate written agreement with you, the Services are made available solely for your personal, noncommercial use. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT Move it cargo DOES NOT PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION OR LOGISTICS SERVICES OR FUNCTION AS A TRANSPORTATION CARRIER AND THAT ALL SUCH TRANSPORTATION OR LOGISTICS SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY INDEPENDENT THIRD-PARTY CONTRACTORS WHO ARE NOT EMPLOYED BY Move it cargo OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES.

Ownership: The Services and all rights therein are and shall remain Move it cargo’s property or the property of Move it cargo’s licencors. Neither these Terms nor your use of the Services conveys or grant to you any rights: (i) in or related to the Services except for the limited license granted above; or (ii) to use or reference in any manner Move it cargo’s company names, logos, product and service names, trademarks or services marks or those of Move it cargo’s licencors.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: MOVE IT CARGO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE RELATED TO, IN CONNECTION WITH, OR OTHERWISE RESULTING FROM ANY USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF MOVE IT CARGO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. MOVE IT CARGO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, LIABILITY, OR LOSSES ARISING OUT OF (i) YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICES OR YOUR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES; OR (ii) ANY TRANSACTION OR RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN YOU AND ANY THIRD PARTY PROVIDER, EVEN IF MOVE IT CARGO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. MOVE IT CARGO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DELAY OR FAILURE IN PERFORMANCE RESULTING FROM CAUSES BEYOND MOVE IT CARGO’S REASONABLE CONTROL.

Governing Law, Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Dubai .
