  • Next, you’ll be asked to provide certain documents for verification purposes. The documents usually include the tenancy contract, your Emirates ID, a move-in request form. Also, you’ll be required to submit the security deposit details.  
  • After collecting these documents, you will submit your moving permit application. If you’re moving to Damac or Nakheel, you can submit your application online, too. Otherwise, you’ll submit the request application physically in management’s office.  
  • Some properties may ask you to deposit a refundable deposit to get the moving permit. For instance, Damac Properties asks for a deposit up to AED 1000/- that will be refunded once the moving process is complete.  
  • Once the moving permits request is approved, collect it and make a few copies. You’ll share one copy with your moving company that they can show at the entrance. And keep one with you in case of any emergency.
